Final Blog

History 172 was the most challenging class this semester for me. The blogs allowed for me to critically analyze the subject matter of the week.The quizzes were formatted in such a way that you had to set aside time to prepare for them. The historical tourism project allowed for me to work as a team with others, and forced me to trust others with part of the work. The slavery paper not only openned my eyes to the harshness of slavery, but also taught valuable lessons of taking notes and gathering information for a paper. I learned a lot about history, but that is only the tip of the iceberg considering all the things I learned that will help me with the rest of my college career. Studying for midterms and writing papers are just a few of the things that I will carry with me through the next few years of college.
