In an interview with Kylie Wallace of Royal Central, Sarah, Duchess of York discussed her joy at seeing how happy both of her daughters are with their partners. The former wife of Prince Andrew, Duke of York, gave a final confirmation of what many were already assuming would happen: the wedding of Princess Beatrice to Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi has been postponed.
In October 2018, Princess Eugenie of York married Jack Brooksbank. In September 2019, Princess Beatrice of York became engaged to Edoardo "Edo" Mapelli Mozzi. Their wedding was scheduled to take place on 29 May at the Chapel Royal at St James's Palace. A reception was to follow in the gardens at Buckingham Palace; the reception was cancelled some weeks ago.
Sarah said of Beatrice and Edoardo: "I have never seen Beatrice as happy as she is right now with Edo. It’s a dream come true for me to have acquired two new members of the family in Jack and Edo." Since the interview was published, Sarah, Duchess of York, relayed that Beatrice and Edo's wedding itself has indeed been postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
