Ancient tomb accidentally discovered in an area of Tala, in which were several vases and other objects which the Department of Antiquities examined and state belong to the Geometric Period.Our information indicates that the ancient findings were discovered during a visit in the area by residents of Tala, who found in an open area a hole that resembled a tomb.
They immediately informed the relevant Department of Antiquities, who arrived in the area and found that it was a looted tomb. The area was blocked and they started work on the excavation of the area. From the excavation already completed, they have revealed a large number of valuable vases and other antiquities, which have already transferred to the Archaeological Museum of Pafos for further conservation and study
