Friday is the last issue of the Cyprus Weekly, signalling the end of this historic newspaper’s long journey.
Factbased and ever-informed, it has, as an English-language weekly publication, touched on important local and world events.
Nevertheless, it is evident that the role of a weekly newspaper, has, over the last few years, diminished. A development that has led to other plans. The void created by the absence of the Cyprus Weekly will be covered by the Group’s electronic publications.
Our English-language news service will continue and will be enhanced, while being directed to both the local and international market via our English- language websites, as well as upcoming, specialised sites in the final stages of preparation.
