Police handed out 25 fines all across Cyprus over the past 24 hours for violation of measures aiming to contain the spread of covid-19.
They had carried out a total of 585 inspections and five of the fines went to establishments and the remaining 20 to individuals. Not wearing a mask where mandatory is behind most of the fines handed out.
Specifically, two establishments and nine citizens were fined in Nicosia out of 95 inspections and one establishment and two citizens were fined in Limassol out of 90 inspections.
In Larnaca, one establishment and three citizens were fined out of 146 inspections, in Paphos a total of 113 inspections led to one establishment and one citizen getting fined – just like in Famagusta area where 77 inspections took place.
In Morphou area, five citizens were fined but no establishment.
